Department of Dermatology

The Dermatology department provides comprehensive patient care and quality teaching to the undergraduate students. The department offers a full range of services comprising General Dermatology, dermato surgery, cosmetology. 

 It is headed by Prof. Dr. Sailaja. In 2020, the Post Graduation course with 3 MD seats was granted by the NMC. The department has both OP & IP services to the patients.

The department is dedicated to improve healthcare of our patients, using the latest and advanced techniques and in training post graduates in clinical Dermatology including aesthetics.

Mission

1.       To provide outstanding educational experiences to students through competent facilitators and supportive infrastructure to transform them into confident socially responsible Dermatologists.

2.       Strive to provide comprehensive, culturally sensitive, cost-effective, community-oriented quality health care services in the areas of Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprosy.

Promoting the use of the latest technology like LASERS in patient care and technology-enabled learning by effective use of ICT in all teaching and learning methods.
