Department of Physiology

The Physiology department is headed by Prof. Dr. John Sundar. The department’s aim is to provide knowledge on all physiological systems in the human body as well as pathophysiological alterations and applied aspects in the individual organ systems. The department has full-fledged  laboratories such as Hematology, Amphibian, Research, Mammalian and Clinical Laboratories as per NMC/MCI norms to train students. The department also has equipments such as Microscope & Hemocytometers  for cell counts, Perimeter, Edridge green lantern, Multi Channel Physiographic, Peak Flow Metui, Handgrip Dynamometer, Sphygmomanometer, Ph  Meter, ECG Machine, Incubator etc which help the students to gain practical knowledge during their course.
