Department of Pharmacology

The Pharmacology department is headed by Prof. Dr. Jaya Kumar JK. The department’s goal is to provide evidence - based teaching by traditional and advanced learning methods. To provide opportunities for research in the health care system. To improve the knowledge of pharmacology with CMEs, workshops and research. To perform  pharmacovigilance duties and studies.

Pharmacology is a branch of medical sciences, primarily focusing on imparting knowledge and skill of pharmacology to implement safe and rational prescribing of drugs in clinical practice for students and healthcare professionals.        
The department equipped with highly dedicated, committed and dynamic facilities with immense passion for teaching.
